Information Data Systems Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Apps System Engineer (Ref# ASE510IT) to work in Troy, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.  

Job Duties: Responsible for design planning discussions with client teams for analysis and effort estimate of application development projects. Prepare technical documents and other project documents. Involved in the complete software development life-cycle including planning, design, development, implementation, testing, defect resolution, maintenance, and production support. Enhance existing business process / workflow models. Gather and analyze user and business requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet client needs and data. Develop and/or maintain web services for the stated applications. Develop new and/or maintain existing reports in application. Develop and/or maintain modules for the stated applications. Participate in assignment, resolution, and tracking of defects, reported by application stakeholders during various test cycles. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment of software systems. Demonstrate knowledge in development methodologies, software design patterns, and software engineering best practices for the application of development domain areas and specific technologies and tool sets. Travel and/or relocation required.

Requirements:  This position requires a Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Software Developer, Systems Analyst, Programmer Analyst, Technical Lead, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
