Claims Advocacy Specialist - Financial Lines

We're looking for a Claims Advocacy Specialist to join our growing Financial Services & Professions Group (FSPG) team in Singapore.

What the day will look like

Providing Claim administrative and advocacy support for all Aon Singapore’s FSPG (Financial Services & Professions Group) clienteles, including:

  • contributing to claims innovation and service model enhancement, including through leverage of ABS (Aon Business Services)

  • contributing to new business and growth by articulating the value and differentiation of Aon’s Claims Advocacy services

  • manage and maintain good client and insurer relationships;

Day to day functions of the role include:

  • delivery of claims and coverage assessments and advocacy to resolve issues for the team and for Aon Singapore’s clients;

  • liaisons with clients, insurers, adjusters/legal counsels and other stakeholders to facilitate timely communication and support throughout the claims handling process;

  • negotiations with clients, insurers, adjusters, and technical consultants;

  • collaboration with internal teams, including brokers, underwriters and operations staff to ensure seamless coordination and resolution of claims issues

  • provision of loss analysis/claims report and regular claims review with all stakeholders;

  • data management and maintenance of the team’s claims folders as well as the Claims Reporting Platform (CRP)

As a member of the team:

  • Ensure and monitor compliance & controls with respect to all MAS & Aon mandated processes & standards

  • Leading ad-hoc FSPG projects

Requirements

  • At least 4–6 years of relevant experience with strong knowledge in general claims

  • CGI/HI or relevant insurance qualification;

  • Diploma/Degree holder or ACII/AAII qualifications and equivalent preferred;

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (word, excel, PowerPoint)

  • Good communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work with others under pressure and to resolve conflict in a constructive manner
