The Heritage Market is designed to pay homage to our past while looking to the future. This market includes the original Pike Place store (our history), 1 st and Pike (our core), and 1 st and University (our future). As part of this market, you will belong to a team that works between all three locations in the Heritage Market on a regular basis.

As a Heritage Market Starbucks barista, you will work in a one-of-a-kind market highlighting the culture and history of Starbucks. You’ll be in an environment where you’ll have the ability to master your food & beverage craft, work alongside friends, engage with the community and meet new people every day. You will be committed to operational excellence through the delivery of high-quality products while working cohesively with the greater team to ensure delivery of the Heritage Market experience .

Summary of Experience

• Previous food and beverage, hospitality, or retail experience preferred

Basic Qualifications

• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation

• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays

• Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation

• Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication

• Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients

• Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift

• Available to work amongst the three Heritage Market locations: Pike Place Market, 1 st and Pike, 1 st and University
