If yes, CACI’s Business and People Analytics team is looking for a Workday Business & Data Analyst to effectively support the data and reporting needs of Human Resources and the business.

As a Workday Business and Data Analyst, you will assess the business requirements to create reports and reporting products within multiple HR source systems including Workday HCM, Recruiting, Talent, and Compensation, as well as Phenom, SABA, and other functional systems of record. You will play a key role in the development, administration and improvement of HR reporting processes, data governance and data quality initiatives.

In your role you will work collaboratively with the broader HR team and will have a customer-centric approach to interacting with requestors. Requests may arise from any level in the organization and the analyst must be able to interact professionally while managing stakeholder expectations through proactive communication and effective prioritization.

More About the Role :

  • Perform data analysis, conduct research and prepare presentations on staff activity to advise leadership

  • Design, develop, configure, and test simple to complex Workday reports (advanced, matrix, composite, BIRT) utilizing Workday Report Writer and Report Designer, as well as other tools and available technologies.

  • Design and create metrics visualizations of people data to deliver insights to business users, enabling business users to gauge organizational health

  • Collaborate with Enterprise Digital Transformation team to build and create insightful analyses of people data, including predictive analyses

  • Identify areas of opportunity to consolidate and streamline reports. Propose reporting solutions that best present the information to the end user

  • Partner collaboratively with members of the HR Operations team as well as team members across HR and other business functions to understand business requirements and develop creative solutions for delivering data and insights to leaders, employees, and HR professionals

  • Manage the maintenance, design, development, testing, and deployment of standard and custom Workday reports and dashboards in alignment with business objectives; serve as a Workday reporting subject matter expert

  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards in Workday for self-service reporting, utilizing custom report design standards and report monitoring to ensure a consistent, trusted user experience with optimum report performance

  • Ensure data accuracy, privacy, and integrity by performing regular audits, developing best practices, maintaining relevant documentation, and educating end-users

  • Review system upgrades/releases to determine overall business impact, conduct regression testing and make recommendations for future enhancements/functionality+ Collaborate with other organizations in the Workday Community to share knowledge and create and/or adhere to industry best practices.

  • Proactively research new Workday reporting & analytics features and functionality, maintaining awareness of current trends in reporting and best practice recommendations

  • Troubleshoot business and production issues, performing root cause analysis to reduce future issues.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience AND 5 years of data analytics work experience

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Workday reporting (advanced, matrix and composite reports), dashboards, and creating & managing calculated fields; advanced Workday report writing expertise and strong functional understanding of the data architecture within Workday

  • Must Be a US Citizen to apply.

  • Strong analytical, organizational and data management skills

  • Ability to deliver across multiple tasks and deadlines, while working in a time critical environment and prioritizing your workload effectively and adapt to shifting priorities

  • Ability to interact professionally and effectively communicate with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts

  • Must have excellent communication (written and verbal) skills

  • Very proficient in Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, index-match, power query, automating repetitive processes)

  • Ability to handle and manage confidential and sensitive information

  • Understand the documentation requirements for collecting requirements, development, UAT and final deployment in a SOX compliance environment

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have :

  • Experience with data conversion, generating EIBs, and data validation for Workday mass uploads

  • Understanding of Workday integrations and web services

  • Strong knowledge of Workday Security, Discovery Boards and/or Worksheets

  • Experience with building, deploying and maintaining custom BIRT reports in Workday

  • Experience with analyzing data using Python, R, or similar statistical software

  • Understanding of database, ETL, and analytics tools and concepts (experience with SQL)

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$78,700 - $165,300
