Robert Half Reprographics Associate (Copy Operator) in New York, New York

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Copy Clerk in New York. This role is set in a large corporate environment, specifically within the legal banking industry. The Copy Clerk will be responsible for processing reprographics requests, managing job queues, operating production printers and copiers, and troubleshooting basic equipment problems.

Responsibilities:

• Process high volumes of reprographics requests for black/white and color photocopies

• Operate production printers and copiers, including managing job queues and inputting job-processing settings

• Operate finishing equipment such as 3-hole drills, bindery, laminating folder, cutter, etc. following job ticket instructions

• Monitor document quality before, during, and after each production job

• Maintain copiers by loading them with paper and toner as needed

• Troubleshoot basic equipment problems and place service calls when needed

• Communicate effectively with the manager and client on job or deadline issues

• Maintain a focus on accuracy and quality, with an attention to detail

• Be prepared to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis

• Be able to work standing up all or most of the time. Requirements • Demonstrable experience in a Copy Clerk role or similar administrative position.

• Proficiency in operating photocopier, scanner, and printer hardware.

• Familiarity with paper documentation and lamination processes.

• Ability to troubleshoot common issues with office equipment.

• Knowledge of service call procedures and queue management.

• Proficiency in scanning and managing documents digitally.

• Understanding of production processes in a clerical context.

• Familiarity with banking operations would be beneficial.

• Excellent attention to detail to ensure quality in all tasks.

• Demonstrable organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.

• Knowledge of hiring processes would be an advantage.

• Ability to handle and process confidential information with discretion.

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and perks offered by the company.
