Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Moorestown, New Jersey. The role involves maintaining, processing, and reconciling accounts for our organization. As part of this role, you will be expected to work efficiently and accurately in managing our financial data and ensuring our financial transactions are properly updated and recorded.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions

• Perform account reconciliation tasks, including bank reconciliations

• Prepare and record journal entries as part of the company's financial records

• Use QuickBooks for all accounting procedures and maintain up-to-date records

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and data analysis tasks

• Contribute to the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

• Review and verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents

• Develop, implement, and maintain financial data bases, computer software systems, and manual filing systems

• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

• Respond to inquiries regarding entered data. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a bookkeeping role

• Demonstrated proficiency in account reconciliation

• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Hands-on experience with bank reconciliations

• In-depth knowledge of bookkeeping practices and principles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial tasks and projections

• Prior experience with month-end close processes

• Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing accounting functions

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
